These terms and conditions of sale ("Agreement") are applicable to any order placed with and accepted by Us (referred to herein as "A1 Sewing Machine Specialists"):
We must have a filled in order form for all orders. Orders that are mailed in with payment that requires depositng will be delayed at least 7 days from the date we make the deposit. We generally make deposits twice monthly on or about the 1st and the 15th day of the month. All checks or Money orders must be drawn on a U.S. Bank. We can not accept checks from countries other than the U.S.
All in stock items ship in one business day if the order is received by 8 am EST it will ship that day. To ensure an item is in stock, please contact us and we will be happy to confirm the product/products are in stock. All delivery times are based on working days and do not include weekends or holidays. All orders placed on weekends and holidays will ship the following business day. For example: a Next Day Air shipment placed on Friday after 1:00 PM with the following Monday being a holiday, will be shipped on Tuesday. You will receive your order on Wednesday morning.
We are bound by law to collect the appropriate sales tax for all orders shipped to an address in New York State. Most orders this will be calculated at check out. If there is an error we will asses the correct sales tax when we process your order.
A1 Sewing Machine Specialists has no control of shipments once they leave our warehouse and is not responsible for delays in shipping times due to: natural disasters, incorrectly entered shipping information, and or products damaged during the shipping process.
Uninsured For most orders. If you wish to have insurance added please contact us for a quote. All orders over $100.00 Insurance will be mandatory. Cost for up to $100.00 is $3.00 ,$100.00-$200.00 is $4.00.
For Industrial sewing machines, we will call you with a shipping rate once we have your location.

Shipping Outside the United States and Canada
A1 Sewing Machine Specialists is a global company and handles international shipments on a case by case basis. If you are located outside the United States and Canada, we shop US Postal either First class or Priority mail. There is no tracking outside the US so you will either be responsible for lost or damaged packages or purchase insurance. Email us for a quote.
We take pride in providing you with the best quality items for your sewing needs. We also want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return for refund or exchange any item, subject to the terms below.
All returns must have an RMA number. To request an RMA number, you must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating the reason for the return. RMA's will not be issued over the phone. No returns will be accepted with out a proper RMA number. This number must appear on the outside of the package and on all correspondence with regard to this return. Items returned without a valid RMA number, or without the RMA number appearing on the outside of the package, will not be accepted. RMA numbers are good for 10 business days from date of issuance, and items must be received on or before day 10.

With an RMA number, all merchandise, except those listed below, may be returned for refund or exchange within 21 days of original purchase. The products must be in new and re-sellable condition, with the original packaging and documentation. Non-defective products returned for refund/store credit at our discretion will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee, no exceptions.
Unopened Domestic use sewing machines: Unopened merchandise that can be returned to the manufacturer may be returned for a full refund less all shipping cost. This means that the merchandise must be in a factory sealed box with the seal unbroken. Shipping is non-refundable, and items purchased originally with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund. All returns are subject to inspection before refund is given.
Opened Domestic use sewing machines: Opened merchandise may be returned for a store credit less a 20% restocking fee for all items, providing merchandise is returned double boxed in its original factory carton, undamaged with Styrofoam, warranty card, instruction manual and all included accessories. You will be charged extra for any missing or damaged items upon return.
The following products (items) will not be accepted for return or refund: shipping and handling charges, electronic or electrical parts including but not limited to Foot controls, cords, light bulbs, printed circuit boards etc. , special order items (see below), printed matter, Industrial/commercial Sewing Machines and equipment ,used parts or equipment, and parts damaged due to improper installation. Items shipped and refused by the buyer will be assessed a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
Special Order items: Once these items are ordered from the vendor the order can not be canceled or the item(s) returned for any reason.
All of A1 Sewing Machines products are guaranteed against defects for no less than 21 days from the date of invoice.
Except as expressly stated herein, A1 Sewing Machine makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold on this site, included but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to A1 Sewing Machine arising from any product sold on the a1sewingmachine.com site shall be the price of the product ordered. In no event shall A1 Sewing Machine be liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to product sold.
On some pages, you can submit information about other people. For example, if you order a gift online and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient's address. In this circumstance, the types of personal information collected are:
